The Ralph and Thelma (Halvorson) Satermo Family

Thanks again to Julie Schroeder for sending this fine picture along. They just don't take family photos like this anymore. Too bad. Everyone must've been practicing their sober expressions just prior to the picture being taken.

I'm guessing Keith is about six years old in the picture, so I'm guessing it was taken about 1940. I'll update the post when I get confirmation on that.

The Parents of Henry Halvorson

Here is a picture of Tone (Thovsdatter) Halvorson (1852 – 1946), the mother of Henry Halvorson and the daughter of Thov Halvorson and Tone Sorenson (1825 – 1909).

Here is a picture of Roald Halvorson (1843 – 1921), father of Henry Halvorson. He immigrated to the United States in 1865 with his sister Mary, who was a few years older than he. He also had an older brother named Halvor. His father's name was also Halvor (what else could it be).

Roald and Tone had four children: Henry, Taylor, Gilbert, and Mary (Uhren).
